MYNAA

With repeated warnings from my uncle and repeated persuation of my friends finally went for this awful(in my case)movie. The poster outside the theatre even said 25 days FULL VASOOL which made me puke. I think the positive thing about this movie is the location they have taken in. Awesome they were and so were the actors. Otherwise it is a mixture of the old tamil movies. You need to be above strictly 18 to watch this movie. MYNAA: LOVE AND THE DARKER SIDE. rating * 1 star.

WHY IN INDIA????????????????

13th october,2010
P.S.G TECH

Today India boasts of the second largest population in the world. We live in a country where we don't have enough place to stay, no water, no food and no future(ROTI KAPDA AUR MAKAN). But the other shocking peace of information is that the people who have enough of these things are not doing anything to help these people. i=Instead they are acquiring more and more resources for themselves.
Mukesh Ambani the richest Indian today has built a residence only for his family(5members) in the shores of mumbai. The information of this palatial house can be found on my facebook wall. My question about this skyscraper is that IS IT ESSENTIAL? The place it occupies can be given to the several of them in need. The money it took to build could have fed several others. During the period when Bill gates and Warren Buffet are giving of their wealth why are the Indian millionares so selfish? And talking about corruption when no private helipads were allowed in Mumbai from where did the 3 helipads on the top of this skyscraper come? Can nothing happen to this country?

THE RED LETTER DAY

30th September, 2010
12 noon

As I sit in my room writing this blogpost, with 3 ½ hours to go for the judgement that will determine the future of this nation, I have mixed feelings. The Ayodhya case has been on since almost the time I was born until today. Is our country not matured enough to hear the verdict and respect the judgement. What took our politicians so long? Is it corruption, lethargy or what???? Do we still see any sign of improvement in this country? When are we going to change?
But on the other side we see that people the people are not ready to postpone the judgement any more. They want it at any cost. I just read Gul Panag’s twitter wall which had these beautiful lines ” SAFFRON AND GREEN ARE TIED TOGETHER WITH WHITE OUR COUNTRY WILL COME OUT VICTORIOUS.” The politicians of both the communities are calling for peace. Is there anything else we can ask for?

Today we shouldn’t be a hindu or a muslim. Today we are just the patriotic citizens of the country, who are going to respect the judgement given by the court. Closing down with the hope of the best judgement ever given.
                                                                                                            JAI HIND!

CLT20:CSK THE CHAMPIONS

Its good that I never watch any of the cricket matches nowadays. Its just because I have this gut feeling that the team I support looses when I watch it (I am a bad omen for the team I support). Happy that the CSK won. But what I liked most about the team was the commitment of MSD to make something from nothing. I consider him as a roole model for the Indian youth.

ENGINEERING: THE SIDE PATH

India is the largest producer of engineers in the world.  But how many of them are real engineers? I mean to say how many of them are practically into it? Engineering has become a part time course in the country. 3 quarters of the engineers produced in the country are either into software jobs or go to do their M.S or do their M.B.A. I am not against the M.S or M.B.A part. It is fine if one relates his higher studies to his undergraduation. But how many are doing the same?
It is advisable to students who are into engineering to take the course in which they are interested and go forward in the same path. As aamir khan says in the movie 3 idiots we are not here for a profit and loss job but to make the world a better place to live in.

ITS ABOUT YOU

This post is dedicated to all my wonderful friends who have always been my strength. This is for each one of you who have made my life colourful.
Who is a true friend? We have several proverbs and have forwarded and received many messages in relation to this. I am not writing this post to talk about that. I just want to say that we don't need a friendship day. And everybody will nod when i say that when one is with his friend that day can be a friendship day. I have celebrated several such days with you and will be happy to continue this in the future.
LOVE YOU ALL.

VINNAI THANDI VARUVAYA

One of the most expected combination of A.R.Rahaman and Gautam Menon turned out to be a nightmare. Simbu doesn’t know what reaction is all about. Though Trisha looked gorgeous in the movie she could have acted better. The timing and the picturisation of songs weren’t proper. The BGMs were irrelevant at certain places. The frequent patch and break up of the hero and the heroine is an irritation. OVERALL: VTV not as expected. Narendran’s rating: 2 stars.

MY NAME IS KHAN

What to say, they(karan johar, sharukh, kajol) are just the BEST. One of the best movies in the history of Indian cinema which focuses on national integration and world peace. Hats off to Sharukh. Kajol has done her part well too. The music by SEL is mind blowing. The song ‘WE SHALL OVER COME’ and the dialogue ‘MY NAME IS KHAN AND I AM NOT A TERRORIST’ brings tears to our eyes. A deeper insight into the movie shows the harm done by George.W.Bush and how it was changed by Barrack Obama. Every part of the movie including the comedy was covered in the movie. Locations were brilliant(No need to tell) and picturisation of the songs were marvellous. OVERALL: MNIK:very different from a typical Shraukh movie. Narendran’s rating: 4.5 star.

JUST 1411 LEFT

Our national animal is fighting for its life.

From around 40,000 at the turn of the last century, there are just 1411 tigers left in India.

If we don’t act now, we could lose this part of our heritage forever.

Speak up, blog, share the concern, stay informed… Every little bit helps.

Aircel has partnered with WWF-India to help save our tigers. Explore the site to know how you can help.
